After 31 trials by Harvard Medical School and 17 trials by Johns Hopkins Medical School, researchers have found that fish oil has the potential to diminish systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and the healing rate is faster with higher intake of fish oil. However, the most interesting finding in this field is fish oil intake can also dramatically reduce hypertension. The upside of taking Omega-3 fish oil is it has no effect on normal blood pressure if taken by a healthy person.
